Md Fahim Sikder is a postdoctoral researcher at the ReAL Lab. He defended his PhD thesis 'Representative Synthetic Data for Fair Decision Making' at LiU in 2025. His research spans fair GANs (Bt-GAN in JAIR 2024), intersectional fairness through knowledge distillation (ECAI 2025), time-series diffusion models (Transfusion, Machine Learning with Applications 2025), and the FairX benchmarking tool.
