Linda Mannila is Visiting Professor at Linköping University and Associate Professor at the University of Helsinki. Her research spans computing education, AI literacy, computational thinking in K-12, and teacher professional development. She co-authored the landmark ITiCSE survey on teaching introductory programming (800+ citations) and has led work on AI literacy frameworks, LLM evaluation of student work, and digital competence policies across Nordic countries.
